Fixie, a Seattle-based startup, has created HiSanta.ai, a web experience that allows people to have real-time AI voice calls with Santa Claus, Rudolph, Mrs. Claus, and other characters. The core technology behind the platform helps companies integrate large language model tech into their own products. Visitors to the site can choose a character they want to speak with, click the call button, and have a conversation about holiday wish lists and more. HiSanta launched last week and has already had more than 10,000 conversations. Users can choose between “nice” characters like Santa and Mrs. Claus, or “naughty” characters like Bad Santa and The Grouch. Fixie wanted to make sure the responses were quick and engaging so that children would not lose interest. The tool’s builders have also made sure the models do not reveal any information about the reality of Santa, to preserve the magic for children. HiSanta.ai is seen as a showpiece for the technology that Fixie offers.
