Invary, a Lawrence-based cybersecurity company, is rewriting how cybersecurity is perceived and coded into the tech community. Invary provides Zero Trust for operating systems, removing dangerous assumptions about their runtime integrity and detecting previously hidden malware. The startup licenses technology from the National Security Agency (NSA) and works in collaboration with the University of Kansas Center for Research and the government. Invary has seen significant momentum in 2023 with a strong angel investor round and the launch of its free Runtime Integrity Score (RISe) service. The company expects 2024 to be a year of big moves, with plans to expand its offerings to include Microsoft products and extend its security concepts up to the network level.
