Adam Neumann’s billion dollar startup challenges WeWork in fierce competition.

Former WeWork CEO Adam Neumann has started a new residential real estate startup called Flow. Neumann has said that Flow would potentially compete or partner with WeWork. However, it appears that Flow may not need WeWork. Neumann’s noncompete agreement with WeWork expired in October, and Flow is putting a strong emphasis on professional networking and commerce, which has been helpful for residents in growing their businesses. Flow’s first building, Society Las Olas in Florida, features a coworking space that is as inviting as any WeWork. Flow is also incorporating digital message boards for residents to advertise their services and generate business. Overall, Flow seems to be carving out its own niche in the real estate market and may not rely on WeWork for its success.
